Mouldy clothes

Just found mouldy clothes at the bottom of the laundry basket. They've obviously gone in damp and been overlooked. They wouldn't survive washing at 60°. Can they be saved?

Wash them first and then decide. I tend to get them wet and then liberally coat the difficult muck with Fairy liquid. Then put it in the washer.

Fairy liquid in the washing machine @CruCru . Doesn't that cause a bubbly disaster?

Yes, nothing to lose by trying a hot wash.
