Just received a delivery. The guy gave me one parcel and went to one of the upstairs to deliver another. I very hastily ripped it open - it's one of my kids' birthdays soon and I was waiting for this thing to be delivered so I could quickly check it and stash it away. I thought it felt a bit light but couldn't make out the words on the inner box.
Within about 10 seconds the guy comes down to say he'd handed over the wrong parcel so I apologized and explained I'd already opened the box, hurried off to get it, handed it over, received my parcel and he went off upstairs again.
Went back to open this box, and found the returns slip/receipt for the other thing on my bed. It's for a vibrator. Sigh. I can't go and hand the receipt over, can I?
Luckily the block of flats is fairly anonymous...I don't know what she looks like and I don't think she'll know it was me that opened it. I'm just hoping the delivery guy doesn't get into trouble!! He's a nice guy, delivers lots of stuff here. Argh.
