Just reading about how the number of people retiring over the next twenty years who are not home owners, are set to soar.
This seems a ticking time bomb with some needing housing benefit to survive, whilst others with fairly decent pensions will be pretty poor after paying for rent. The divide between home owners and renter's gets even wider in retirement as many home owners no longer have a mortgage to pay.
