Seen the Google Street View car and now want that job

I've just seen the Google Street view vehicle and realised that is what I want my job to be.
Driving all day without any time pressure

How do you know they aren’t expected to cover x number of streets in a day, though?

I like Streetview. I once considered buying a house in a poor area which needed renovation, as it was cheap. However, once I looked the address up on Streetview, I decided against it. The neighbours were out in the street greeting the Streetview car rather uproariously, including one bloke who was mooning at it!

I was in Austria last week, and the street view car came past! I've made a note of where we were so I can find it when it comes out.

My mum is on it, picking blackberries from a bush down a lane near where she lives. Totally oblivious!

My mum is in her street view cutting her grass, she has been blurred out but it is definitely her, i only know because I was having a nosy at a house for sale at the bottom of her street.

DH is gardening on the front in the latest one that came round last year! I love street view to look up old friends, boyfriends houses etc to see how things have changed.

I suspect they do have time pressures, I’m sure they don’t just pick and choose when and were to out driving.

I know that there would be certain routes that need covering and I wouldn't be able to just meander around the norfolk coast, not to mention my planned overseas relocation, but I would love to give it a go.
Maybe Spain has openings....

She was impressed he'd 'taken the photo of the screen' (she's not very tech savvy)

I did take the piss (in a nice way) and it gave us a good laugh

Dd lives in a city centre flat and on google streetview her skyscraper is under construction and there are builders lying down in the road. I assume they saw the car coming and all dropped to the floor for a laugh 😁

It’s a car with a big camera on a post on the roof, you can’t miss them it’s pretty obvious when you get to see one.

Two ex-colleagues were caught out having an affair when StreetView pictured them mooching down the road near our office, hand in hand.
