What slow cooker is best?

[JeanSimmons]

I am looking to buy a slow cooker, but I'm unsure which one to get. Budget up to about £200.00. I love the idea rich autumn stews left to cook all day.

I have a crockpot. It does the job but I use my soup maker much more. My friend has a really tiny slow cooker, I don't know what brand it is but I have no idea how she makes anything in it.
