Has anyone dealt with hair loss on the weight jabs?

Just that really, seems to be coming out in bloody clumps for people and I'm already fast and loose with it in peri! Not sure whether to try the jabs. Has it affected you or have you not noticed a difference to your hair? Thanks all.

I'm not in peri menopause however I have lost a lot of hair since using the jabs - it's not patchy at all, just far less of it. I reckon I've lost 50% of the volume, hair that used to take an hour to straighten is now done in 20 minutes.

I've had to give up having highlights as well as it can't cope with bleach anymore either

It’s not the jabs that cause it but the weight loss.

I didn’t have any hair loss, despite losing over 40% of my body weight in a year on Mounjaro. DD lost three stone through low carb dieting and lost absolutely loads of hair.

It is a risk but her hair grew back lovely and thick. It depends on whether you think your health is worth that risk?

It's not the jabs that does it, it's the rapid weight loss. Eventually it'll settle back down.

Yes I lost a lot, I wore a topper for over a year, and then got a weave. It's much better now

I did start to lose hair so I started taking collagen and that sorted it

It's not the jabs, it's weighloss that causes hair loss so you'll potentially lose it doing it the old fashioned way.

I lost some but it was brief and has grown back.

If you're overweight enough to be eligible then consider whether losing a bit of hair is worth it to get healthy again.
