TW - talk of attempted teen su1* and SH.

My 15 year old dd has been sh for a while and last weekend she went missing with the intention of never coming back.

Shes home, patched up and we have mental health support in place but I'm starting to crash out about how very different things could have been if a couple of things that we did the morning she left hadn't happened that led us to know she'd gone.

She would have had an extra 3 hours head start at least. She might have got to where she was heading.

Are there any groups for parents or siblings?

Her older brother who suffers with intrusive thoughts and massive anxiety is really struggling too. He's sleeping on her bedroom floor currently.

I've kept it short because i'm exhausted but happy to answer people.

Hi - sunflower parent support on Facebook is friendly and you can use nicknames. On here I don’t know if there’s an ongoing thread but I hope you get some helpful replies.
