What's the first word that comes to mind to describe him? I'll go first.. liar

I was going to say bullshitter.
But then I saw charlatan and thought that’s better.
But then I saw traitor and I thought that’s better still.

If I was allowed more words I’d say Poundshop Oswald Mosley

Patriot. I know mumsnet won’t agree but hay ho.

That’s not how to spell hey ho.

Typical Reform voter…hey ho.

Were they wanting the garden implement thread? Maybe they meant hay hoe?

Genuine question.

What kind of patriot frequently lies to the British public, shows a total disregard for British laws and for our parliamentary rules and constantly talks the country down?

I think we'll be waiting a long time for a reply 🤔

Patriot seems an odd choice for someone who is hell-bent on destroying the country and ruining the lives of millions of its citizens.

I was listening to one of those panel shows on the radio where they had to make up a new definition for a word and someone came up with
‘Farage - the sludgy liquid found in the bottom of a wheelie bin.’

I always think of that whenever his name is mentioned.

Yes, one of those types of programs. It was years ago when farage was first becoming popular; in the Brexit era I suppose.

That’s your rather biased opinion of him @MrsBennetsPoorNervesAreBack. You could find plenty of politicians to whom that description would accurately apply of a more left leaning persuasion if it suited your agenda to do so.

How is it biased? It describes his actual behaviour!

Weasels are cute, despite their carnivorous proclivities.

This is a thread about Farage, though.

Well, if they were genuinely behaving in the way that I have described, I wouldn't describe them as patriotic either. Would you?
