Cool places to hang out for free in London?

Kids are 11 and 14 and we will have a couple of hours before a 2pm show. Arriving into Euston any thoughts on where’s nice just to hang out for a bit??

You may get lucky there is an outdoor cinema there so depending on time they may be showing something

If it gets too hot the Samsung shop in Coal Drops Yard is a hit with teens!

lots of consoles for gaming, gadgets to look at and a coffee shop inside.

What a perfect day we had - unfortunately there was some absolute dross on the cinema but still a lovely place for our picnic!

Definitely going back next time it was fab.

Tip for anyone else with younger ones - take swimmers and a camping towel they were living their best life in the fountains whilst parents just enjoyed the sunshine

They had the fountains on? In a drought? There are quite a few municipal fountains round our area, and they have all been switched off, to reduce the loss of water via evaporation.

By the way, if you go another time, maybe stroll through Chinatown round the back of Leicester Square.

Not free but if you need food anyway you could go to Spittalfields Market.

They are on a closed water cycle using recycled water. I think it depends on the fountains though!
