TW CSA Please reassure me this nightmare about my friend's child was just a dream

I've just woken myself up from an horrific dream/nightmare and I need people to tell me I'm ridiculous and dreams whilst some believe have meanings, doesn't mean they are real.

In a nutshell (cos let's be honest no one is interested in the full details of someone else's dream!) my best friends DD was showing clear signs of SA. I can analyse myself why (as can anyone who bothers to username search my previous thread) and my mind 'protected me' in that I could choose the ending of the dream as my conscious brain battled my subconscious brain to wake up (it was only sexualised language she was using therefore it didn't mean the worst had actually happened but clearly something had as she's 6 and should not know these terms therefore report it and let specially trained officers question her to find out the truth) (sorry bit long for a nutshell but it's helping to get it out of my head to somewhat type it out)

I'm a child SA survivor (and an adult DV, SA survivor) and my DM never knew and to this day still doesn't know, hence why it's hit me so hard and I've come straight here for a sense check, it was just a stupid dream right?

It’s just a stupid dream. It’s your sub conscious working through the experience.

Thank you, rationally I know that but I'm not fully awake enough for rational brain to be in charge yet so it helps to hear it
