Anyone else finding Netflix full of grim, repetitive programmes?

Virtually everything on Netflix is about crime, death, fighting, kidnap, torture, drugs, rape, war and weird shit about aliens 🙄

Boring......

Yes, I've watched Downton Abbey and something about Marie Antoinette.

I've even watched a German series about a house robot that kidnaps a family and tries to kill them.

I don't like comedy. I don't like romance. I don't like fluffy wildlife documentaries that start off nicely then end with little fluffy animal being ripped apart by a predator or choking to death on a plastic bag or being squashed by a JCB.

Netflix n shite.

It was hardly aggressive. Your response, however...

Accusing another poster of ‘talking tripe’ and telling them they ‘need to learn to search better’ isn’t aggressive? But my response pointing this out…..is?
Ok then.

I really enjoyed The Diplomat.

I'm enjoying it too but it just seems to go on for ever....

Also trying to find out which stately home it features. No luck on Wikipedia....

I just had a look and counted: there are 23 genres to choose from, in either movies or tv series (or "shows" on their menu). But there are in fact masses of other sub-genres. You can type in a subgenre or a director or an actor, etc, that you like into search.

If you go to the "new and popular" page, you can see what's upcoming; and really to have the problem OP is finding, you would have to be limiting yourself to the home page recommendations and not looking beyond your nose.
