In my room in a cheap hotel in Switzerland listening to people playing very loud music and wondering how long it will be before a horde of Swiss people descend to tell them it’s illegal.

I’m sitting by myself in the food stalls area doom scrolling and texting friends because my social battery is low and I needed time away from the group of friends I’m here with. I’ve also been in a bad place mentally (work related) and want to minimise time with DP lest I snap at him and ruin the trip for him.

So it’s not all roses. 🌹

Lying on the sun lounger in the garden although just lost the sun!
dh has brought me out a cold glass of beer and he’s about to light the bbq. Minted lamb chops, spicy chicken kebabs, roasted peppers and a load of leafy salad. But a bit later!
No one is hungry yet anyway.

Sitting in my garden listening to the birds chirping and the gentle hum of my husbands new beer machine dispensing a cold beer -happy because he already poured me a cold rose with ice cubes .
Trying to drum up energy to set the table and cook outside .

Sitting outside drinking a nice cold glass of wine. DC are asleep and DH is out so I’m very much enjoying the peace!

Quite fancying the chicken & chorizo pasta. DH is doing beans on toast & DD17 had pepperoni pizza with a friend earlier. Had a really nice chilled day & spent lots of time with the bunnies 🐰❤️🐰❤️🐰❤️🐰❤️

Scrolling while waiting for my DD (21) to fall asleep next to me. I’ve driven 8 hours to collect her from uni (should be 6, but you know, traffic). So we are staying in a hotel tonight packing the car tomorrow, and I snore so if she falls asleep maybe she won’t hear me!
There was a prom at the hotel but they’ve all left.

Awake in bed listening to a thunderstorm south of the river, London.

Eating toast, dirty white bread and proper salted butter with a coffee watching Graham Norton with Madonna…. I don’t know what it is, can’t put my finger on it, but I don’t get it or her.
