Left it last night at Aldi self service and find my phone is showing that as the last location.

Can’t believe I have gone from 7pm to this morning without realising I don’t have it. Swear I saw it last night and nearly went back to put it on charge but remember thinking it will be there tomorrow. It’s not there. And find my iPhone says it was never there. Unless it ran out of battery exactly at checkout which I find hard to believe.

Equally find it hard to believe I didn’t notice I didn’t have it when I got out the car. Very confused but at this point accepting it’s gone.

After flapping round half the morning because it’s disorientating not having it. Try to order a replacement sim. Sends a notification to my lost phone.

Try to order a phone. Can’t log in without notifying my phone.

Cant ring anyone to do this offline.

Please tell me all your apps are face/ fingerprint protected ? 😳
If not and your phone was unlocked when it was swiped you are in big trouble.
If you haven’t set up proper security, they can get into your phone via notifications if they show up un your lock screen!
Have you at least got stolen phone protection activated ?

Was your icloud/apple account at the top of settings greyed out / protected with a separate screen time code so nobody can mess with settings and gain access that way?
I assume you’ve sorted out your icloud by marking the phone as stolen?

Exactly, that's my point, I need to make sure they are safely stored somewhere else so I can log in from my laptop if i no longer have my phone that remembers passwords to some sites or has a different way to log in

I don't know if all banks are the same but for example my phone bank app needs a 5 digit code but if I need to log on via my laptop it needs an extra piece of information

OK so do you need to check the house top to bottom? What did you carry your shopping home in? Did you buy anything not on your usual list where you could have put the phone down - ice lollies, sun cream, garden stuff?

It should ping its last location before dying, was your batter low before you lost it. Have you tried playing a sound

It had very low battery in the shop.

When I click play sound it just whirls around saying ‘connecting’ but never does.

To set out the timeframe
mon 7pm - last used it to pay at Aldi
tues 10am - cannot find my phone so go onto ‘find my iPhone’ and it’s showing the last location as Aldi ‘17 hours ago’
Tues 11pm - check again and it’s showing my house ‘yesterday’.

How is that possible?!

As that happened at midnight I am assuming that means calendar days.
