What’s making you irritable today?

I am so grumpy. I’m stuck in my own head and everything is irritating. DH is ill and sighing a lot. 18 year old DS isn’t getting as much work as he’d like and it’s stressing me out.

Anyone else?

The heat

The heat is making me very grumpy indeed. I don't want to do anything other than nap. But then it's too hot to nap!

Constant scaremongering posts on Facebook about the heatwave.

People moaning about the heat. It’s not even hot today, at least wait until Tuesday you moany bastards

Day was going great until "D"P spoiled it with his stupid bad mood and now just being around him is irritating the fuck out of me.

A somewhat annoying new presenter on Classic this afternoon. I didn’t
much like Alan Titchmarsh - so ‘cosy’ and talking as if all listeners are feeble minded (struck me like that anyway) so I wish I could say the new one is an improvement. 🙁

Job. I think I’m beginning to hate my job and the fact it’s crept into Saturday has made that crystal clear. And DH. Feeling a little bit more mellow about life in general after sitting in the garden for a couple of hours with DH and a couple of beers though, but previously pretty much everything about job and life in general - it’s all just a bit too much at the moment.

Domestic turmoil. Having some fairly minor work done on the house, which is proving disproportionately disruptive and frustrating. Trying not to let it get to me, failing miserably.

What has not eating meat got to do with you being coeliac?

Ha! I often feel this way about nectarines and avocados - ripe and ready to eat MY ARSE.

Same here! It's too hot my bedroom and sitting room faces the sunset I'm hoping to watch some TV catch up Doc but I know falling asleep within 10 minutes is inevitable and it's back to work Monday. So hopefully you can sleep better tonight 😴

My internal car thermometer was showing as 42 at two pm so I think that's quite hot enough for me anyway

Nothing, I’ve done an hour of tai chi and watched a good film at the cinema so now feeling very chilled.

They stretch back if you wear them.

My 3 and 6 year old have bickered all day, didn't matter what we did or where we went it continued. I cannot wait for them to fall asleep so I can sit in complete silence.

My middle dog and Husband are annoying the tits off me today! Luckily i have been popping into next door to check on their cats and omg it's like heaven! No knob dog and no man.

We've been doing DIY all day. Dh and I do not work well together. I like perfect and he likes quick 😂.
I'm considering ltb. Mainly because he measures and cuts everything wrong then blames me for being fussy when I complain!

I worked today 9am to 2pm and didn't have time to eat anything other than 1 cup of coffee and a cereal bar. Then I had a hair appointment at 3pm so didn't have time to eat anything before that. Then I had to buy a birthday card, something from the DIY shop and dinner from M&S on my local high street after the hair cut. By this time it was 4pm and I was starving. M&S didn't have any fucking aubergines!!!!! So I had to go elsewhere. I finally got home at 4.30pm and had tea and a bagel. I was beyond grumpy.

I’m in Antalya airport, absolute nightmare! So busy, nowhere to sit and umpteen time consuming security checks. Aargh!! 😩

My blocked sinuses! And bloody pollen. Lack of sleep, the dog being extra needy and wanting to cuddle me - and it's too bloody hot! Everywhere is a mess and I just can't find the energy to tidy up. DH having to go to work.

This heat. And DD. TBF she is ill as well as not coping well with the heat, but instead of just lying quietly on the sofa she’s whining constantly.

Every single time i want to spend any time in the garden. Matey next door decided to get his electric hedge cutter out and makes the most awful din. Yes the hedge dividing our small gardens could do with a prune but not right now.
