Vinted glitching today?

Anyone having problems with downloading postage details today? 3 times for me today both as a seller and a buyer.

been having problems since Friday. Today I deleted the app which meant I could log in via safari on my iPhone and was able to get my labels doing that. Received two Royal Mail ones as printables ones when usually would be a qr but at least I can send stuff !

Thanks for starting this thread. With no printer it’s very annoying. Has anyone had any luck generating a QR code label yet?

I've found that half of my sales have QR codes, and I've had to print labels from my laptop for the rest.
It feels really old-fashioned.

I don't think it's ever been simple to get hold of their Customer Service dept.

How frustrating and clunky. Do you know if there is a way to guarantee labels are a QR? I don’t want to have to cancel orders due to not having a printer.

Typically I’ve uploaded lots today after not using it for months!

Vinted told me there was a problem on their side with the courier

Yes ive just accepted an offer and it wa showing sold in my items but nothing on the message thread. Finally showed as sold and took ages to come through and now only printable label

It’s so annoying. I’ve had the same thing happen this weekend and can only download a printable label when I don’t have a printer. I’m glad it’s a system error though and not just an issue that I have.

Hopefully, now it’s Monday, it’ll get sorted quickly. Thanks everyone.

Are you all still experiencing issues with getting shipping labels?

Started for me yesterday - I tried changing my email (which in my settings is a weirdly long address) and instead of changing it, I was asked to re-register with a different username. As I obv want to keep my current account, I left it but the weird email address became unverified.

I’m still getting notification to my actual email with offers though. So frustrating, but having found this thread, I’m relieved it’s not just me!

Sorry, just seen my post is out of date - yes, fingers x things get fixed this morning. Pity Vinted can’t let people know there’s a tech issue their end though. I spent yesterday thinking it was just me and panicking.

I’m having issues still and there is no rhyme nor reason as it’s both Evri and inpost with issues for me. I’ve reported it and am waiting for a response.

Inpost seemed like a normal order last night but its royal mail seeming to insist on a printed label then I cant click onto "find my nearest drop off point" either so cant work out if I have to go to the actual post office or not ince ive finally printed my label!
Hope ita resolved soon

buyer select it so have had to apologise to the buyer and cancel. I have loads of options just none involving a printer.

Dont have the label issue though - sold something fine this AM.

I have a printer so not an issue for me, but the dimensions of the ‘large letter’ option mean a package has to be less than 2.5cm deep! This is pretty much impossible for the items I am selling even though they are small packages.

Anyway, two sales have come through using it despite me having it not selected, so I’ve packaged them up and I’ll attempt to send them with the ‘large letter’ labels and see what happens. All the other postage options I offer are at least 8cm deep and I have never had a problem.

I may have to put a note on my listings to say I can’t accept this method for most items, but I expect Vinted won’t like that!

I believe the issue is resolved. I was able to get the digital labels for printout etc. All the problem ones were Royal Mail.

Has anyone tried sending a parcel bigger than the dimensions? I don’t want the buyer to end up with a surcharge and leave me bad feedback but someone has bought something from me that definitely is bigger than large letter dimensions

I am having this problem today. Had to cancel two orders because I don’t have a printer.

I don’t want to make small items “medium” as that might put off buyers using InPost.

I have completely disabled Royal Mail now which is annoying but hopefully I can put it back when it’s fixed…

I sent two parcels where the buyers paid for large letter via Royal Mail yesterday. There was no way I could have squashed them down to a depth of less than 2.5cm so I wrapped them as I normally would.

Took them into the post office where they scanned the labels and gave me a receipt; no comments at all made on sizes of parcel. I’ll let you know if/when they arrive safely.

They weren’t massive, would easily fit InPost and Evri dimensions for a small parcel which is why they were marked as small on my listing, the ‘large letter’ dimensions are impossible unless you are sending something like a dress pattern or very thin book.
