Looking to buy a kindle, love reading especially on holiday. But tend to fly hand luggage only plus with a month long holiday coming up, I am considering a kindle. Concerned that it won’t feel like a real book. Feedback, tips etc welcome!

I switched to ebooks after a fortnight’s holiday where one of my cases was just full of books. I use the kindle app rather than a separate kindle. I love that you can scroll rather than turn pages which means if you are resting the device on your chest and your breasts stop you seeing the bottom of the page it’s not a problem! I love that I always have my phone with me so if I end up with 20 minutes free (eg friend running late) I can read my book even if I hadn’t specifically taken it with me. I can change the font size so I don’t need specs to read and larger font stops me getting travel sick when I read on the train. If there’s a word/reference you don’t know you can click it to look it up in the dictionary, Wikipedia or translate it from a foreign language. I love real books, I think a house is not a home without books, but I’ve been a dedicated ebook buyer since 2007.
