Strangest thing you've seen today
May I present Mathilda the micropig in a garden centre in Andalucia

An ice cream van trading in B&Q car park. I don't go there very often so maybe it's normal but made me smile.

My elderly father has been complaining about his 2 seater sofa being uncomfortable for months, it is 2 years old. Today me and my husband visited and husband removed the base lining with a Stanley knife. Inside there were 2 cling film wrapped Iceland turnips. Really confused us all as there is no Iceland in a 30 mile radius and my father is housebound. It has put the fear of god into him and now he is in car with us on route to ours.

Best thing I have heard today! Hope your dad’s sofa is now free of all rogue veggies and is finally comfy

I was googling recently to find out how to get rid of a vile smile being emitted from a brand new sofa I'd bought and came across a very similar (if not the same - can't remember the exact vegetable!) story online, it may have even been on here... How bizarre

A gorgeous kingfisher flying at shoulder height along my road. It turned left down the next street and disappeared. No bodies of water nearby. It was the strangest thing.

I was digging in the garden today and as usual the robin was hopping around collecting worms. When I stood up to stretch my back it came and landed on the arm of my glasses. Oddest but best moment of my day.

This is amazing @PottingBench! What a blessing!

I knew I'd read about turnips in sofas before - there's a thread on here from last year about stinky sofas from next and someone said they found 2 morrisons turnips in their sofa!! What on earth.

Don't know how to link to it sorry

I recently saw a man wandering down the High Street wearing a 6-8 ft python like a feather boa.
