My DD is going to look out the window at school and convince everyone it's snowing....

And there was me thinking teachers were busy.,,

Bloody hell, teachers literally can’t win. Either they’re fun sponges for not doing April Fools Day, or not busy enough if they have time for a prank.

Why would they be ‘fun sponges’ for not doing April Fool?

Love the teachers getting involved, really laughed at the 6/7 one!

Eggcelent work with the yogurt and apricot.

Do grown adults really pull this shit at work (pretending to call in sick etc?)

I am all for having a laugh but surely grown ups don’t feel the need to get together to plan a spectacularly unfunny prank at work? Plus there’s always some twat who takes things too far

Well, I can't speak for other work jokes, but in the case I mentioned, no one went too far and it brightened the day for people who worked hard in a stressful and not well-paid job.

I found the idea of all the staff calling in sick really funny! I’m going to steal that for future years.

Really? Wow.

Really? Wow.

For someone who says they’re all for having a laugh, you’ve shown no evidence to support that in your posts.

It’s just a bit of fun, for a few hours at most, one day a year. I didn’t bother myself but was certainly on the look out for any good ones!

I hope you find some then

I'm late to the game here, but honestly the amount of people who don't seem to understand that a group of 8 year olds might find a snow prank hilarious even though adults might not is insane. Or that it might take them a while to decide on a apricot and yoghurt fried egg prank, and get it ok'd by the other parent. Why are we putting down the creativity of these children instead of praising them for thinking of the idea and finding ways to implement it? I would be so proud of my kid for thinking of a prank like that! What is funny to kids might not be funny to adults!
