My DH is camping out tonight for a fundraising thing. It’s just a bit weird him not being here. I’m finding it difficult to sleep.

Been revising for an important exam, brain is busy but kind of too tired to move now so watching South Park and trying to summon the energy to have a pee!

TheCurious0range · 29/03/2026 03:52

DS shouted out DH went to check on him, he'd just woken up and wanted to check we were ok... DS and DH back to sleep in seconds, I realised I needed the loo so got up, now laying in bed feeling thirsty but not wanting to go down to the kitchen and I drank my glass of water I brought up at bedtime

PfizerFan · 29/03/2026 03:54

2 year old is up screaming for no apparent reason...

wildflower93 · 29/03/2026 04:01

Anxiety over the recall of asbestos in children’s toys. It’s the third recall now and I’m just incredibly anxious over it all

SabrinaThwaite · 29/03/2026 04:02

Combination of menopause and a cat snoring like a rusty chainsaw.

SabrinaThwaite · 29/03/2026 04:04

@PfizerFan Our eldest was having growing pains at that age, he’d often wake in the middle of the night crying.

AlwaysTheRenegade · 29/03/2026 04:04

No idea because I'm absolutely exhausted. Stress is getting the better of me tonight I think lol. (I'm living in a Travelodge at the minute with my kids and DH, our landlord had to sell our house and we couldn't find anywhere).

Shupps · 29/03/2026 04:05

Me too 🤣🤣🤣
I've been editing and eating chocolate

Strawberrycheesecake7 · 29/03/2026 04:05

I’m breastfeeding 4 week old DD.

FogField · 29/03/2026 04:06

Bad habits

MirandaWest · 29/03/2026 04:07

I had a dream that woke me and now can’t get back to sleep

Oh, hadn't thought of that. I was wondering if it was a nightmare as she wants me to sit with her. No temp or anything so don't think she's sick

Tiredmumnosleep · 29/03/2026 04:09

15 month old woke up about 2 hours ago and has decided they don’t want to go back to sleep!

HelpMeGetThrough · 29/03/2026 04:26

Very bad stomach. I had emergency bowel surgery last year, which resulted in having a load taken out and a resection.

I’ve got adhesions as a result of the surgery and ended up in hospital last week. Its really decided to kick off this evening and it’s still pretty bad.

Im up to my limit on codeine, but going to have a cup of tea and bang one more tablet down. It’s hurting like a bugger at the moment.

snackattackk · 29/03/2026 04:28

I'm pregnant and keep waking up in the night, I've started going to bed before 9pm to try and get most my sleep before I wake up. Was actually my husband who disturbed me coming to bed tonight, he fell asleep on the sofa and came up at 2 and I've been awake ever since, he of course was back to sleep in minutes!!!

windysocks · 29/03/2026 04:31

Husband snoring

Confusedmermaid1 · 29/03/2026 04:35

Baby on the boob…
I’m quietly hopeful as this is the second time she has missed her 1am feed
If we can go from 1am, 4am, 6am to 3/4 and 6/7 I’ll be like a new woman by the end of the week!

DS18 is still out. Went to a house party and they decided to go to our town’s late club. It closed at 4am. It’s a rare, big night out for them all but he’s phone is dead. I slept for a bit, woke up and realised that he is still not home.

spingforward76 · 29/03/2026 04:38

Me and dp went out and are staying in a hotel. I'm always up before 5am anyway but thought I would sleep a little later with the clock change, but apparently not.

Try not to worry too much. How far is the club to home? Was he walking? It's only just gone half past four, hopefully he's on his way or going back to the house party.

Ohcrap082024 · 29/03/2026 04:50

DS is back. Hasn’t drunk much. Was making sure our neighbour and her friends got home ok. Off back to bed.

cannynotsay · 29/03/2026 04:57

Keeping the baby up right after his milk so he doesn’t chuck up everywhere

mondaytosunday · 29/03/2026 05:00

It’s not that late for me as I’m on the east cost of the USA visiting family. But I’m in the ‘concerned parent club’ too - my son has gone out to a nightclub with the au pair. She’s very savvy and they are meeting her friends there and I know she doesn’t drink, but it’s his first time out in a ‘big city’ club. He wasn’t feeling so hot earlier so think he’s only gone because he asked her a few weeks before we arrived and didn’t want to let her down. Hopefully he’s rallied and is busting some moves on the dance floor! But I’ll be a bit anxious til I hear them return.

Mumofteenandtween · 29/03/2026 05:07

Bloody British Blahing!

Dd is on the Team GB pathway for Blahing (where Blah is Runn / Swimm / Cycl / Sail / Danc) and we have to be 70 miles away for training at 7:30. Except that is really 6:30am! So I am eating my breakfast. Will go and wake her up shortly but she needs the sleep.

In case this isn’t obvious “Bloody British Blahing” is a phrase used often in our house! 😂

BeanQuisine · 29/03/2026 05:12

In Australia here, enjoying a lazy Sunday afternoon. Thinking about dinner, which will probably be a chicken roast with the usual trimmings.
