[Spring2026]

I'm trying to walk more but can get a bit bored listening to music - what podcasts do people like? I've got Spotify premium and bbc sounds, not sure if bbc does podcasts. Looking for funny or interesting kind of things. Nothing too heavy. Thank you!

Three Bean Salad, comedy podcast with jingles and three comedian contributors who at first sound exactly the same until you get to know them. Including Mike Wozniak ❤️ Occasionally inane and rambling but many moments of absolute joy. Wish I could listen again from the start for the first time.

You can listen to most BBC Radio 4 programmes in podcast form via BBC Sounds as well, they do a lot of comedy and factual shows.

Some other podcasts I enjoy include Sawbones - medical history and analysis about things in recent medical news with a comedy twist, hosted by a husband and wife team, that's been going for more than ten years now. The Consult - crime deep-dives into individual missing people or murder cases, with former members of the FBI behavioural analysis unit, it's not sensationalised or comedy, it's very respectful and victim-focused. 99% Invisible - stories about design and architecture, very interesting.

Off the back of this I'm going to try My Dad Wrote a Porno abd the Teen Commandments.

I listen to The Rest is Entertainment, Burnt Toast, Shedunnit, The Swinging Christies, and Maintenence Phase.
