What time do I set my alarm for next Sunday? (Clocks changing)

We need to leave for the airport at 2.30am. We need about 45 mins to get ready. Can't set it for 1.45am as it won't exist and 12.45am will be before the clocks change so way too early...

12 45 is the same as 1.45 (as you can add the hour at any time) so you need to set it at 12.45.

Most devices will just automatically adjust the time

Presumably if you’re using a clock which won’t automatically adjust, you can just manually move it forward when you go to bed?

You don't have to wait until 2am to change the clocks! Do it before bed. Set alarm for the time you would have needed without the time change. When you wake up it will be the right time.....

I'll be using my phone which will update automatically so I can't change the time early.

Set it for 12.45 am. At 1am your phone will immediately change to 2am so when you leave at 2.30am you would have been up for 45 minutes which is what you need.

1:00 AM on Sunday, March 29, 2026. The time will jump from 1:00 AM to 2:00 AM. As long as your phone is connected to the internet and has "set automatically" enabled, it will handle the change without manual input.

Agree set it for 12.45am. You will get up at 12.45. 15 minutes later it’ll be 2am!

Set the normal time
and make sure phone changes time automatically

Phone will do it all for you but I wouldn't be going to bed. I would never sleep anyway.

Many people (south i believe but prove me wrong) that next sunday is THE next sunday to come along. This is of course batshit as that would be this sunday!
