Bring back Chris Whitty.

As meningitis seems to be spreading, why has the Chief Medical Officer, Sir Chris Whitty not been put in charge of planning and controlling it?

It is spreading amongst young people sharing vapes, glasses, bottles of booze, cutlery etc and kissing. Can’t imagine Whitty having much impact on that kind of behaviour, can you? Someone young on Insta/tiktok likely to have more impact.

I think it’s ok as parents can keep an eye out for symptoms.

If there’s no secondary infections it’ll be over pretty soon.
