Do you still make mistakes at work?

I made some really silly mistakes and didn't QA properly. PM doing the final QA, spotted and made comments for me to fix. I fixed them, but kicking myself for not being more thorough.

Yes, I'm a boss, lots of mistakes, some big ones, that's life, never malicious, but they happen, you sort them out and move on.

I make mistakes when tired,or overwhelmed we're only human.I feel annoyed at myself.I am menopausal, luckily I have a great boss that understands.

Anyone who tells you they don't make any mistakes is a liar.

I’ve been at work for 36 years (not all in the same place). Yep, have made mistakes at work and still do! It’s just life and we are all human. I don’t think there’s one person in my office who’s never made an error!!

@Mazdaz489yes I used to beat myself up when I made mistakes but now as long a I learn from them I’m forgive myself a little bit quicker!

There's a lot of cross referencing in part of my job. One of the managers was regularly asking me to explain why I'd made a mistake (usually every other time I did it) and also why I hadn't done it in the time allotted.

That all changed, the day I phoned in with a family emergency and he had to do it (he knows what to do), he not only messed up the same as me, he made another mistake which no-one has ever come across resulting in Head Office getting involved. It took him 3.5 hours, not the two allotted.

Since then, I get an extra hour to do it, and he's told me there's nothing that can't be sorted, so not to worry!

Made a mistake today. Been in my job 18 years!
