Of course. The best technique is to not eat the last few crisps whole, then scrunch them up inside the bag for an extra large helping of crumbs.

The crisps aren't finished until the packet has been licked clean.

Tip them in my mouth? I've only ever eaten crisps with a knife and fork. A small packet lasts me about 10 days. Mumsnet is so full of fatties.

To be fair, it's only in the privacy of my own home. Or the pub.

I don’t like wastage, so unless I am in polite company (eg Dm), I tip the crumbs into my gob and make sure I get every last delicious morsal. .

I can't stand the greasy feel of the inside of a crisps packet, so I tip them into a little bowl. I eat all the small crisps first, then the big ones, then I lick my finger and finish up the crumbs with my fingertips.

Scrape the crumbs out with my finger and lick them. I've even been known to open up the packet and lick every last molecule of flavour off but that's when my mum brings me prawn cocktail crisps once a year or so. Can't buy them in my country so I need to savour every last bit of them.

It's not decorum that puts me off licking the pack, it's fear of cutting my tongue in it. I'm on blood thinners, so it would be very messy....

I lick my index finger and transfer the crumbs to my eagerly awaiting gob. Those salty, scrunchy morsels at the bottom are the best bit.

of flick your top full of precious crisp crumbs into it to the best of your ability (I am imagining whales eating plankton scenario)

B - stick all the crumbs off your top with your finger and eat them that way?
