Mine has always been lunch, where as I never miss breakfast or dinner. It’s not even a time thing - I have just never been much of a lunch person - though I do snack a lot - often on fruit or chocolate in the afternoon - or sometimes yoghurt.

I never eat breakfast.

CarrierbagsAndPJs · 25/02/2026 19:04

I usually skip breakfast. On a normal day i have fruit at 11am and lunch at 1.30pm. Then dinner in the evening.

A Saturday is the only day of the week I am not rushing out in a morning so I have a leisurely breakfast.

I never eat breakfast.

Same.

I've had some people ask why I 'skip' it, but you can't skip what you never have.

In the same way I don't 'skip' having dinner at Buckingham Palace 🤣

Flingotheflamingo · 25/02/2026 19:06

Breakfast and lunch.

I love breakfast food, but if I eat breakfast it kick starts my hunger and I stuff my face all day.

Chinsupmeloves · 25/02/2026 19:07

Breakfast, sometimes just don't fancy it anyway.

Wynter25 · 25/02/2026 19:08

Breakfast

Teenagerantruns · 25/02/2026 19:09

Breakfast or lunch, l normally eat 2 meals a day...not bothered about 1st two but like my evening meal.

Mathsbabe · 25/02/2026 19:10

Breakfast

sundayvibeswig22 · 25/02/2026 19:11

Breakfast. Never have it unless on holiday then I’ll have something light and it’s usually mid morning.

TheWibble · 25/02/2026 19:11

Breakfast or lunch. I usually eat 3 meals a day, but if I skip a meal it's 50/50 whether that's breakfast or lunch.

damsela · 25/02/2026 19:11

I do the 16/8 and my breakfast is my lunch! I have what many would eat for breakfast around 12 noon or later. A few cups of tea/coffee before that. I honestly hand on heart never feel hungry enough for anything before that. I suppose it's habit now. I eat well and a lot but don't snack, that's what 16/8 helps so much with. Gets you out of the habit!

louderthan · 25/02/2026 19:11

I don’t really eat breakfast or lunch as such, I have a banana or bread and butter with a cup of tea when I wake up, then a substantial brunch at about 11, a snack about 3 and then dinner about 7.

Dearg · 25/02/2026 19:13

None of them. What fresh hell is this ?

Gwenhwyfar · 25/02/2026 19:15

Breakfast. I never have it. The whole 'most important meal of the day' is BS by Kellogs. I'm not usually hungry first thing.
I couldn't miss lunch and dinner would be hard as well unless I'd had a huge lunch. I also like to have a sit-down break in the middle of the day so lunch is important. If you skip lunch, does it mean you just work all day with no proper break?

NoahVale · 25/02/2026 19:19

none
i used to not eat breakfast
but simply cannot go without it now

user1492538376 · 25/02/2026 19:29

I’m surprised by the number of people who skip breakfast! I love it - and worry about low blood sugar overnight - I run every other day and always have something even if its just an apple or nakd bar.

Sometimes I take a break but then will often just go for walk instead of lunch. Usually have a second coffee near lunchtime.

If I could get away with it I’d have a snack dinner. I prefer to eat a bigger breakfast/lunch. Unf when the family are about I have to cook so I’m not cooking just for them!

Breakfast i take a while to wake up and if I eat too early my IBS goes nuts for the day.

Is this a thing? I only ask because this has been happening a lot to me lately (having a bad stomach if I eat early) and I wondered if it was something I should get looked into, or if it's just a peri thing

Redhairandhottubs · 25/02/2026 19:34

Dinner! I’m always hungry in the morning and lunchtime but not so much in the evening. I hate going to bed feeling full. I wfh so quite often have a big lunch and something snacky in the evening.

somewhereintheworld · 25/02/2026 19:36

None. I never skip any meals 😂

Yes its a known issue with some IBS sufferers.

GreenEyesIsBack · 25/02/2026 19:37

I've only ever eaten dinner for about 20 years, so breakfast and lunch.

popcornandpotatoes · 25/02/2026 19:38

None. I eat breakfast lunch and dinner. The only exception is if I've had a big Sunday lunch then I just have a little evening snack

DotNTimmy · 25/02/2026 19:39

Breakfast. I don't get hungry until about 1pm and also, I can't be arsed. I have enough to do in the morning without eating.

I do love some breakfast foods though. So I'll often have lunch and dinner and then two weetabix or porridge as a late afternoon or evening snack.
