30th Birthday ideas - that aren’t a party! Place recommendations?

My husband has asked what I’d like to do for my 30th birthday coming up.

For context:
I work in a school, so can’t go away for more than 2 nights (birthdays on the Friday so can go Friday night-Saturday night)

We have two young children, don’t mind including them but ideally want something without them (no offence to them I love them but we rarely, and I mean rarely get time away without the kids 🤣)

I don’t want anything that involves inviting a bunch of people. I keep my circle obscenely small. I don’t have enough friends to invite to an actual party 🤣

I don’t drink, at all..

I really can’t decide what to do, and I don’t have much brain power to think of anything fun.. so I’m hoping MN can do the leg work for me ☺️

Escape Room/Day Disco/something random you’ve always wanted to do or somewhere you’ve wanted to go that’s fairly local but different. Just you & DH if need be, can have fun just the two of you 🥳

What kind of thing do you enjoy doing? Just build a trip around that?

I honestly just enjoy being slow and our own company. I don’t really like to be in crowds, I don’t enjoy things that require being at a certain place at a certain time to do a certain thing.. I don’t know how to explain it 🤣

I also have anxiety and agoraphobia so that make quite a lot of things difficult. But occasionally I’ll do something out of my ordinary 🤣

If it's just you and DH fir a weekend why not a super fun date weekend? See a show, go bowling, art gallery, romantic dinner, couple's massage ... try a couple of different things along with tried and true?
