What were your most appreciated gifts?

Cook vouchers, a cook meal dropped off and left without the visitor wanting to come in, a fruit basket, deliveroo voucher, a friend had a McDonald’s and a coffee delivered one morning after a bad night…can you sense a pattern 😂

I bought myself some really nice shower gel and moisturiser and a nice hand soap for guests to use that felt luxurious. I’d have liked those as gifts from other people.
I was also given Some pjs, eye patches, vouchers so I could buy some clothes once dc grew out of the ones that fit. A voucher to buy myself a new bra that actually fit my post pregnancy boobs.

if it’s a first baby they’ll probably have bought or be excited to buy most things or they’ll have an opinion on what they want, and mum can be a bit forgotten in all the excitement of a new baby which can be hard and a shock. I think always best to assume mum had baby sorted, so how can you support mum

Unperfumed handcream, my hands were awful in the first couple of months.
Cook vouchers
vouchers for her favourite coffee shop

Clothes - 6-9 /9-12 months soft jogging bottoms/dungerees with poppers, bodies, T-shirts and a cardigan. By then they were out of the sleepsuits but you still want something easy to get on and off and layer.

A really large hooded towel or a hodded towelling poncho, the latter is great when you go swimming.
