Where's my casserole?

I cannot for the life of me find my casserole dish. A large, bright blue, cast iron casserole dish that I used at the end of November last year but when I went back to look at christmas it was gone.

I havent lent it to anyone and DH says he hasn't either, I have looked in every kitchen cupboard in this dimension. Its just too big and heavy to be hiding in the odd sock/teaspoon place.

Where's the chuff is it?

You haven't stuck it under a plant pot? That's where my metal sieve was - cheerfully on my porch with a small tree in it.

With my favourite knife, which is not in the draw where I normally keep it ( in a sheath) or in the cupboard underneath where I usually find missing kitchen utensils.

I have found a few things that got put away with the good plates and cutlery after Christmas, could that be an option?

You burnt something in it, put it outside and it's been stolen by the scrap man!

MIL nicked it or DH lent it to someone and won't admit it or DH used it for some garage activity eg oil change on motorbike or under the boiler to catch leaks etc?

Pod and homily borrower have taken it and turned it into an indoor swimming pool for peagreen and arrietty. 😃
