Please tell me how you clean windows

Used to live in a dark house with little windows, which really didn't show the dirt. Our new house has much bigger windows and is much lighter, and the windows show every mark (and also all of the smears from my cleaning!)

What are your tips for cleaning (lots of) windows well please?? Can I get use a blade on a pole, like a window cleaner? And what do you use for a smear free clean? Windowlene? Soapy water? Any advice much appreciated.

Karcher window vacuum is a game changer, you will be fighting over whose turn it is to clean the windows. Easy peasy and strangely satisfying. It sounds like a luxury but it's no more than the cost of a professional clean. I have the basic one, it's been doing a great job for 20 years.

Window vac! I use it everywhere I can…windows, mirrors, floor…it’s brilliant.
