Teaspoons ….

Where the hell do they go?

I bought a whole new set just a month ago. Gone! Everyone in the house denies any knowledge of where they go so I was wondering if MN has any insight. I’m wondering if they hang out with odd socks?

We have the opposite problem re Teaspoons…just look at them all…and there are some in the dishwasher atm....maybe we are at the receiving end of the Teaspoon portal??

And yes @AnSolas and @Liminal1975 …the surest way to summon anything is to a. replace it or b. throw away the remaining part of it.

They've left home.
At teaspoon college, little yoghurt pots and sugar-in-tea were the core skills drummed into them, and they are dismayed at not being able to put their training into practice.

Start talking loudly about how much you are craving a Muller Lite and a sweeter hot beverage and they will come back. (Teaspoons travel very slowly and they probably aren't out of earshot yet.)

I have that issue with teatowels. They multiply in the teatowel drawer.

The fun thing, though, is that they mutate so rapidly that you get a wonderful diversity. Souvenir teatowels from visitor attractions that you can't rmember visiting, like the Borsetshire Frog Sanctuary, or the Museum of Telegraph Poles, or World of Staplers, etc.

Huh! I think I recognise some of those!

Alas I am unable to return them to their proper homes!

I don't have any teenagers just a huusband , knives as screwdrivers, forks poked down the overflow to unbung it and t. spoons..... don't even want to think about where they go

Ansolas.. I had a neighbour who swore she dropped a teaspoon and watched it disappear into the tiled floor
