What is your earliest Memory?

I'll go first

my earliest memory is being in a cot with my cousin in the room, they moved out when I was around 12 months old. I can briefly remember the cot end with all the animal characters. My next memory at 23 months was the moon landing, my parents got me out of bed to watch, saying it was history in the making and they wanted me to see it - I can remember (whether it happened is anther matter entirely)

whats yours?

Probably between 2 and 3 years old looking through the bars of the cot in my grandparent's house where we were staying.

1972 so I would have been about 15 months old. Sitting in my pushchair and going up with my Mum to the new secondary school which had just opened. My two eldest sisters were pupils there. I remember hearing 'Hold Your Head Up' by Argent around the same time - it's probably the first record I remember.

I was 3 ( 1970s) on a bus with mum. The driver was singing loudly and swigging out of a hip flask.

Two from when I was about age 4-6. One is sitting on the stairs eating party food at a birthday party. The other is standing on our swing gently swinging on my own in the garden at dusk. I distinctly remember contemplating life and feeling very grown up (maybe because it was getting dark and I was on my own). Funny the things you remember.
