Try not to be too embarrassed. It’s hardly faux pas of the year. If you like the pics keep them, it’s your page! In my opinion I’d find the people posting mean comments under your pics the most cringe.

can’t comment on the love for Nige or jelly tots though as I don’t know any Nigel’s and haven’t a sweet tooth

It's great. Keep going. I miss the days when FB was filled with crass declarations of love and drunken photos. Mine is just a weird mixture of adverts and rants from local people about parking these days

a) Acceptable only if 'My Nige' is a cute puppy or cat. If Nige is in fact a 40 summat bloke then this is a very unBritish public show of affection (with a hint of saccharine over sweetness). Even worse if you regularly post that kind of nonsense and worse still if you have only just met the man! 😆
b) Depends how wasted you are in the pictures, how dressed up you are and who else can see your pictures on FB! Hope you had a brilliant night out though!

Not sure I’d describe it as chavvy, but a bit cringe certainly. I have a friend who announces how much she loves her husband all the time on FB but in real life she often argues with him and moans about him non-stop. So of if I ever see posts like that I just think that the opposite is more likely to be true 😬

Nobody really uses Facebook in that way anymore. I have one friend who over shares and uses it like a diary and it's a bit cringe, she's nearly 50! But if it makes you happy then you do you.

I find these types of adoration posts a bit cringe, not the fun photos though. It smacks of feeling a need to show everyone else a level of self sought affirmation when there's no need to. Xx

Jelly Tots don’t taste the same anymore. I always preferred the Teddy Tots though.
