Living situation making me feel depressed

After landlady passed away her DC told us they were planning to sell. We put in for the first place we viewed. Ill be honest we really didn't inspect it. We could afford it, near work/school (we don't drive) and so that's where we are.
I know there are worse houses but I don't think we'll ever be as settled as we were and we regret moving here. Absolutely no chance of buying anytime soon without leaving the area to places At least a couple of bus journeys from everything we currently walk to.

I've kept looking on openrent but hardly anything has come up the last few months, I don't know if that's how it's always been or if it's different now with the changes coming in for landlords.

I'm not even asking for advise I just miss what we had and feel so crap that we have ended up here.

Have you moved already & you truly dislike where you are? Or still waiting to move?

Maybe consider trying to save for driving lessons/car over the next 12 months, that way you can move further away (and purchase as you’ve stated) and then commuting to work/school is doable.

I appreciate that things are always that simple but having at least one person in the partnership that drives can make such a difference.

Already moved and not much left over each payday to save more
Isn't much we can do to change situation. I was just having a moan
