Dh has a bottle of Corona, ds has a glass of Vimto. I've not got one yet.

I'd love to have a coffee but it's too late. Don't fancy an alcoholic drink. What have you got?

Just finished a decaf tea and my nightly glass of movicol. Living the dream!

This made me laugh. Living the dream indeed. I hope the movicol does its stuff for you ☺️

Pinot grigio. And water, I always have a pint on the go and it's about half full. Or maybe half empty.

Fawful · 25/01/2026 21:45

Hot chocolate with a bit of decaf coffee, so I guess some sort of moccha. I seem to pretty much always have a hot drink on the go, for some reason, everyday it’s decaf tea, coffee, chai, chicory, matcha, redbush, hot chocolate…

I would normally have a glass of wine on the go at this time of night. But I’m dry Januarying which I’m surprised I have lasted this long as as I usually well fallen of the wagon my this point in the month.

So I’m drinking a detox tea. It’s mint, ginger and senna

I hope you’re near a loo!

Off to Google sleep tea....does it work????

It works for me. Used to have a g&t as a night cap (yeah I know) but since switching to Twinings Sleep tea, don’t need to anymore. Much healthier way to get to sleep.

boulevardofbrokendreamss · 25/01/2026 21:58

Water in my yeti bottle - to negate the wine from lunch

vanillaskin · 25/01/2026 22:02

Yorkshire bedtime tea now

OttersMayHaveShifted · 25/01/2026 22:09

Water. Quite fancy a sleepy tea now, but probably going to bed in a minute instead. I don't drink coffee any more, and no proper tea after 5pm. Had a couple of glasses of white wine on Friday and Saturday, but definitely no drinking on a school night!

I think so. It certainly feels very soothing.

I like all the teas in the collection and rotate them depending how I’m feeling!

DanaScullysLegoHair · 25/01/2026 23:29

I have the Twinings spiced apple sleep tea. It has a lovely vanilla warmth I find (may well be imagining any vanilla!)

Oooh to the wind down collection @BellissimoGecko I've never seen that! May I ask where you bought it from?

I love the Sainsburys own bedtime tea, it tastes faintly like turkish delight to me.

@MaybeItsTimeForMeNow it could just be a placebo effect but a very nice one at that.

Edited to add last paragraph.

15February1960 · 25/01/2026 23:31

Water at side of my bed.
Only have one cup of decaff on a morning.. rest of day / night it's water.. sometimes sparkling water.

Hollyhobbi · 25/01/2026 23:38

Yes, blackcurrant Lemsip! Have a nasty cough and I usually take two paracetamol every night for chronic bone pain. Can’t really take anything else due to being on warfarin🙁

DiscoBeat · 25/01/2026 23:40

I had a lemon san Pellegrino at about that time, with a posh ice cube left over from Christmas (big one with orange slice, rosemary and cranberry). Very refreshing!

Both from Tesco!

DanaScullysLegoHair · 26/01/2026 08:37

Thanks @BellissimoGecko. That will be why I haven't seen it, I only have a little Tesco nearby.
