Sleep deprivation and work

I usually sleep well but last night I did not. I went to bed about 10.30. Watched tiktok for a while. Likely went to sleep before midnight.

I woke at 3.30. I tried to go back to sleep but I tossed and turned. I likely would have gone back to sleep about 6 but I had to get up at that point. I had to attend an appointment for work. I know need to travel and go to my physical work for about 3 to 9 pm approx. Could be later too. I don't know.

The thing is I feel like I am about to faint. I am also nauseous. Likely due to lack of sleep.

Should I phone in sick for the rest of the day or push through. I am so very very very very tired.

Your OP was like it was a standalone issue though, not that you have chronic sleep deprivation.

I don't have chronic sleep deprivation now. I did in the past but now even one night of sleep deprivation floors me.

I think you would have received totally different responses if you had explained that this was a psychological response linked to past trauma rather than just a single poor night's sleep.

I take it you decided to throw a sickie and instead of going to sleep, have chosen to spend more time scrolling mindlessly?
