How on earth to boots justify their prices?

I needed paracetamol today. More than two packs. So I picked up two from savers. They cost me 49p.
I had to go to boots to pick up a prescription so I thought I would grab a pack there. The exact same stuff just in different packaging was £1.49!!!

Now I technically didn’t pay a penny for them as I used my points, but seriously?!!

OP- have you tried crushing the regular/cheap paracetamol between 2 metal spoons, then mix with jam, peanut butter, honey or spread of choice to swallow?
