Anyone up for a “what have you sold on vinted today” thread

I’m always fascinated with what sells on vinted so is anyone up for joining me on documenting our journey for 2026?

I’m on a huge clear out in my home and all money will go towards a holiday at the end of the year.

Today I’ve sold 9 items amounting to £152. Items are-

4 coats
9 pairs of Disney headbands
a ladies bundle of clothes
a brand new dress

Tomorrow I’m tackling under my bed and the huge cupboard in my bedroom 🤦🏻‍♀️

Two table lamps and a light shade!

AmusedGreen · 07/01/2026 19:34

I sold two pairs of new kids wellies and a steel kids bottle. Still have over 200 items on sale though so it's not exactly a money spinner.

Jamaicaningmecrazy · 07/01/2026 19:35

Sold a girls wetsuit. Trying to sell a full length faux fur brown coat.

I sold a dress for £8
and a summer dress for £3
I love getting rid of things so am happy whatever they sell for.

Me too, I accept most offers too because I just want it gone rather than hold on for a few quid more.

I don’t think I will ever run out of things to sell.

Me too tbh, the kids grow like weeds and I’ve drop two dress sizes since last summer from coming off medication. So got all that to upload aswell

I sold a NWT pair of trousers for less than I bought them for originally on vinted. I was honest that they were only 28 inside leg, unlike the original seller!

I hate when people aren’t honest with sizing. I try my best to put all the measurements in so people know exactly what they are buying.

Do you upload everyday and pay for showcase? It works wonders for me

I upload maybe three times a week. Which does make a difference. But showcase didn't work for me. Certainly when I'm shopping on there I skip over the showcases for some reason.

This week I have sold DS's old trumpet books for a few quid as just wanted to get rid of them and wasn't even able to give them away locally, no one wanted them!

And a lip gloss from my beauty advent calendar that I didn't want.

I have bought a book for the MN readalong and also one of those light up candles to brighten things up a bit now that the Christmas decs have come down.

Going to list some old handbags this weekend.

babylamb4 · 08/01/2026 20:59

Day 3 of sales and i made £400 😱
items were

8 vintage plates.
And a huge bundle of my daughters summer clothes.

So happy with that, just goes to show how well you can do on vinted if you just keep up with uploaded a few things a day. Didn’t get to b&m to get boxes but did manage to gut and go through another room today and fill up my basket and get it uploaded straight away.
Think I’m going to go through my youngest DD’s room tomorrow which I’ve been putting off because i need to find homes for all her new toys 😬

Hope others did well today?

£400 - wow! How much for the bundle of clothes and the plates. Was it just 2 items?
I sold a fitness top for £10 and was chuffed with that 😀

It was 3 separate listings for the plates totalling £370 and the clothes bundle I got £30. I wasn’t sure about listing the clothes because with it being January and all that but they sold within 15 minutes of me listing them 😳 either people are well organised or I suppose people go on holiday all year round really and shops aren’t stocking summer clothes yet.
£10 is good it all adds up

Day 3 of sales and I’ve made £116 🙂

items were-

Three more plates.
men’s north face jacket.

only uploaded two things today because I’ve been busy and out of the house most of the day so didn’t get to sort any rooms.
But my god am I glad it’s Friday. First week back at school after so many late nights over Christmas has been a killer, especially when the mornings are so dark and cold 🥶 just want to stay in bed so bad.

Hows everyone else’s sales been? Anyone plan to have a sort out this weekend?

I’m so impressed with your sales.
I sold a Liberty handbag mirror yesterday for £4 💵💵💵
I didn’t list anything yesterday, it definitely boosts your sales if you list regularly.

I’m going to try for at least one thing a day.
How many items do you have listed in total?
I have 180!

I'm fascinated by this thread - there's another one going at the moment where we're all complaining bitterly about the changes they made to the sizing which means you can't search for a single size now, but instead have a size range (eg 12-14) to open each item to find out what size it is. An absolute pain in the bum and we've all cut back on our spending massively as a result. From this thread, it sounds like plenty of people are still buying on Vinted though.

MarmaladeSandwich7 · 11/01/2026 09:52

2 Conturve bras £40
1 M & S bra £4
1 M & S strapless bra £5
1 coat £12
1 necklace £4
1 maxi dress £10
Harry Potter Dobbie duvet set £4

Have had quite a few bits marked as a favourite .Resisted buying anything which is very unusual for me!

babylamb4 · 11/01/2026 12:11

I have 26 listings in total atm. I’ve heard that if you list 5 things a day it massively boosts sales.

I don’t really buy clothes on vinted so the changes haven’t affected me, but vinted are changing it back to the way it was before which I’m sure a lot of people will be be so happy about.

I don't think they are sadly - there's a few posts on the other thread about it. It's good that it hasn't affected your sales though 😊

Day 4 (yesterday but forgot to post)
I sold one item, a pair of men’s crocs for £20.
But I did get a lot of items favourited and loads of offers sent. I haven’t listed anything in two days because the weekends are busy but I have been adding bits to my pile ready to photograph and list tomorrow.
Hope everyone’s having a lovely weekend

OP posts:
babylamb4 · 12/01/2026 20:13

Day 5 and 6 of sales and I’ve made £210
items were.
Childs crocs
8 plates

posted 4 listings today and they all sold.

Managed to finally gut DD’s room and sorted through all her clothes and filled a huge bag ready to be photographed and listed tomorrow morning.

I thought January but be the worst month to sell but turns out it’s been great so far. And it’s motivating me to keep ploughing though the rooms. Next up I must tackle the cupboard of doom and my under stairs cupboard 🤦🏻‍♀️ I have so many duvet sets to sort and I have no idea how I’ve accumulated so many.

hope everyone else is doing good with sales?

Ahh no id heard they was going to change it back 😔 I don’t understand why they wouldn’t, it doesn’t make sense to keep it the way it’s is. Especially with all the complaints they had about it.
