Impromptu visit from newish man, would you get dressed?

Not as exciting as it sounds!

Newish man who I met through a sports club.

We'd both been at training last night, although didn't see much of each other, as we train in different groups.

I went home, showered and got into PJs to settle down for an hour or so TV before bed.

BF called to say could he come round to watch a show we'd been talking about.

So I'm jn PJs, no makeup, hair just left as it came out of the shower. Would you get dressed and make yourself presentable, or just have him come round as you are.

Obviously I could say no, but let's assume I like the man and am pleased at the suggestion!

I would have got dressed. I have been in that situation ( many years ago) and I did get dressed. I kind of thought it was too early to be 'cosy' and he would be fully dressed.

I wouldn’t bother putting make up on just to have to take off again before bed (and I assume he’s seen you without it if you train together). Depends on the state of the pjs? I usually wear a nightie (which I would only wear to bed, not around the house), but if it’s cold thermal leggings and a top. If I’d showered before bed, I’d probably have yoga pants and a jumper on, so would be fine to stay in that.

If the pjs in question were threadbare with teddy bears/disney/hearts/etc., then yes, I would definitely have changed!

No. I look my worst at the gym. Wet hair and pjs would be an improvement

I assume he regularly sees you with no makeup & sweaty kit if you met through sport?

I'd probably put on a bit of concealer & mascara and change into some nicer comfy clothes rather than PJs, but I wouldn't get dressed up & put a full face on.

I'd get dressed if I hadn't slept with him, but stay as I was if I had!
