I bought an iphone air and had to set up an esim to use it as no space for an actual physical sim card only esim. I am on a contract with EE.
Hated the phone so advertised it for sale, guy came to buy it and when he was looking at the phone he told me he wanted to buy it then deleted my esim before I could tell him not to.
Got new phone and ordered replacement physical sim from EE with my contract number on it, it wouldn't let me order it because it wouldn't accept my debit card to pay the £1.50 for the sim (same debit card I have used with EE for the last few years), called EE to see if they could activate a new esim and she told me to upload my passport and take a selfie then it failed saying they couldn't veryify me (it was my passport and my face in the selfie so not sure why it failed) she then told me they could email a code to me instead but i can't log into my icloud without my number as can't recieve the code to log in!
meanwhile i'm paying for my contract and been unable to use my number for going on a month.
anyone have any ideas? you need an active sim to activate the esim as they send a code!
