PIP
I've been diagnosed with ADHD last year.Ive always had dreadful anxiety and bouts of depression and I'm awaiting ASD assessment.
After diagnosis I was sent a link to apply for access to work which is great as I've always worked but can no longer drive.
I then discovered PIP isn't means tested and I can still work.
I've applied and I'm in the process.
I've had text saying I'm being looked at by medical professional.Anyone had a result without an assessment?
I'm not overly worried even tho I know the process is rigorous.

I worked part time when I was awarded. The assessor was lovely and even said how nice it would be if the award meant I could reduce my hours a bit, which I did.

It’s entirely possible to work and get PIP. Obviously if you said you couldn’t walk far, yet your job was being a postie it would go against you.

You can get PIP for ADHD? Hardly surprising then that the queue is round the block for assessment/diagnosis....madness...

Its a disability and it goes off need not diagnosis HTH 🙄🙄

Some people get paper based assessments, but its when there is enough evidence on the form to award without and actual physical assessment
So for example my son is due to transfer to PIP from DLA in a few months, hes severely autistic non verbal etc
We have tonnes of evidence I think its unlikely he will need a physical assessment.

Thank you all.
I guess I will find out soon.My struggles are lifelong.I work and it's my only solace as I find crowds, difficult socializing impossible and I have SAD so 50 per cent of the time is like wading through treacle.
My evidence is suicidal ideation
Therapy
My dh who has known me over 40 years
Yes I have ADHD but I had an assessment to see why I struggled with colleagues.
I had no idea about access to work or PIP.
