Ha ha. I was really late and my mum said as soon as she saw a Friday 13th coming up she just knew!

I met mine at university. We were both born on the same date and in the same year. We were also doing the same course and had a similar physical build, hair colour and glasses!

It actually amazes me that even with several posts pointing out the folly, people are still happily volunteering their birthday.

They’ll be the same people who post in response to all the threads designed to elicit information about your year of birth and all the common security questions.

Just don’t. Even if the OPs actually think this stuff is just a bit of fun, it’s irresponsible online activity.

A few years ago I went on a group holiday, there were only 9 of us, and there were 3 of us shared that birthday.

I'm surprised people are giving their DOB.
I noticed a what is your name without the first and last letter in active convos too.
This is the sort of stuff you learn not to do in high-school.

Say Mumsnet is hacked again. They've got the email and password linked to your username, which you may or may not have used on other websites. Plus your birthday from this thread. Plus any other identifying info available from your posts. That's quite a lot of personal data which can be used or sold.

If looking for a birthday twin, mine is odd, it's my DM - born on her birthday. My niece and nephew (same parents) share the same birthday, one of their parents has a birthday two days later.

My son and 3 of my closest friends are my birthday twins. I have also met several random people over the years with the same date.

You give your DOB on one thread, moan about your MIL moving to the nearby village of Little Snoring on the next thread, mention you've been in menopause 5 years now somewhere else... you've narrowed yourself down a heck of a lot, even without a mumsnet hack.

One of the girls I went to school with had the same birthday as me matching the day and year.

She was also born at the same hospital. I wonder if our mums were side-by-side at some stage lol.

My husband’s work colleague has the same birthday as him.

My 20year old DGD is my birthday twin .so is a very close friend and my brother’s DGS . That’s 4 of us with the same birthday . I also have a DB , DBIL and 2 friends with their birthday on December 20th . My nephew and my youngest DGD have birthdays on December 30th
