Everyone else is asleep and I am watching Emma Willis deliver some babies, whilst cuddling my dogs.

Very much still in Christmas mode and thinking of what chocolates I have left.

Also considering ordering this dressing gown in pink, as I just keep coming back to it.

Probably need to leave the house for bread and milk but might just send someone else.

Managed to tidy the kitchen and do some washing too. Go me!

We are all off until the 5th, (I was working until Christmas Eve) so yes full on Christmas mode here for ages yet.
DS is 17 so he often does his own thing with his mates, DH and I just pootling about, eating, drinking, walks, whatever we fancy really.

Yea mostly. DS1 had to go home midday yesterday as had other commitments and DS2 was working so it sort of felt like Christmas was curtailed somewhat but that's the price with adult DC's

We're popping off our to a shop as I've decided I need some new boots. Going to Stow so hopefully won't be too rammed

Yes I think so, as we are going out to the pub with dp’s sister, husband and their mum for a special lunch. Also I am wearing my party velvet trousers that I bought for one occasion and have barely taken off for a week.

I am aware that it’s Saturday though, so must be coming down to earth.

Total Christmas still here. Have been out for breakfast, and will be going out to the cinema later. Picking at fancy biscuits and chocolate.

I'm cooking Christmas lunch number two in three days time 😁

DH is off work until 5th and DD back from university until 12th so still Christmas period here as well.

DH left at 4.30am to drive to France to see his Mum, his brother and SIL and niece whilst I stay with DD and ASD DS cat and chickens. DS is up and about and wandering round the garden. DD is still asleep but was up at 4am to 5am entertaining the cat and saying bye to DH with me. I have had some porridge and golden syrup and a cup of tea. I gave the cat his second tuna. Chickens are wandering garden with DS. Just a quiet day here watching films, entertaining cat etc. DH has just arrived.

On the way to partners son and his partners house to drop off presents for them and the grandkids. Somehow a rushed phone call when we were out shopping this morning got misconstrued and we said we'd be at theirs for lunch time. I think son thought he meant we'd be back to ours from shopping at noon so they are sat outside our house asking where we are. We are 20 miles into the journey to theirs! Oops.

We are currently sat having a Costa at a service station on the M5 waiting for their return home 🤣

It's our first day in a good few when we're not entertaining people.

I've had a nice long shower, tended to all my houseplants and now enjoying a bit of peace & quiet.
Had pannetone for breakfast because it was there!

Zilch. Was out Xmas eve, Xmas day, and boxing day. Got family visiting tomorrow. So we all had a nice ly-in, I've done a clean and tidy through the house + put away presents etc (Xmas decorations are still up though). DH and DS are going to Sports Direct to get some football boots for DS in a bit with some money he's been given. I'm planning on having a nice bath whilst I have the house to myself. Looks far too cold out there today.

We’ve had the last 2 days with family so having our own Christmas Day at home just me and DH. We’ve had Buck’s Fizz and chocolate for breakfast and are watching Christmas films and I’m cooking a Christmas dinner for us later. We’ve done it before and it was really nice, plus it means we get leftovers!

Still in christmas mode here, though eyeing up the decs and thinking of taking some down. We leave the main tree til 6th jan.
Been slurping on mulled wine and baileys since christmas eve so lots of water for me today with the odd tea or coffee. Give the liver a break.
Plenty of leftovers to eat too, am not cooking anything else today, dh can get off his arse and cook if he wants it.
Just remembered i bought myself naice cheeses so must get them out and use up the last of the cranberry sauce.

Didn't get much chance to be in Christmas mode as just returned from two weeks in the Caribbean at lunchtime Christmas Eve (it was my 40th - not a regular occurrence!)

I'd very much like to be sitting in the house doing nothing but I've now got two days away at an Airbnb and a spa session this afternoon... reason being to support a friend in distracting her from the fact that HER EX HUSBAND AND EX BEST FRIEND ARE MARRYING EACH OTHER TODAY! (ARSEHOLES)

We're going to watch A Christmas Carol so still in xmas mode.

Been food shopping, a walk in the sun and now sat with a Prosecco watching football and having a roast. Darts later!

Only insofar as we have one more set of grandparents to visit this afternoon. We are away tomorrow for the night for non-christmas reasons. Tuesday the decs will come down, not that we have many.
We don't have lots of sweets or Christmas food, just some leftover chicken and a Toblerone so no need to random pick.

I've tidied the gifts into gift bags, washed my hair, put real clothes on and done a wash. Christmas mode is now being activated for the rest of the day, with tv, reading and chocolate.

I’m being a Scrooge this year and have taken the tree outside ready to be collected tomorrow (it’s in a pot and will be replanted at a tree farm). Teenage DC are both out with friends this afternoon and will be doing homework / revising for mocks this evening.

I hate the week between Christmas and New Year and am never quite sure what I should be doing….

Yes definitely still in Christmas mode. Heading to Kent for the day to visit the aged Ps, exchange presents, have a celebration meal and walk in the seafront.

Yesterday went for a walk around the grounds of our local National Trust property and saw the house all decorated in Victorian Christmas style. Then to the panto in afternoon.

Tomorrow going on a light trail/walk. Son and his GF got engaged yesterday but aren't publicly announcing until tomorrow as they want to get some insta photos at the light trail(!)

29th & 30th will be quieter as H is back to work but I always love this week of relaxed festivities and lots of lovely leftovers to scoff. Tree stays up until twelfth night though I'll start gradually removing the decorations from 2nd Jan as there are so many!

DH and DS have gone to the football so it’s just me and DD’s. DD1 and I are watching the same game but on TV (she’s as football mad as her dad and brother even though she’s only 3.5!) and DD2 is having her nap. I think once the game is over and DD2 is awake we’re going to walk into the village, get a coffee and spend an hour at the park. Then later we’re over to the neighbours for drinks, whilst DS and his GF watch the girls. Still very much Christmas here

Yes it’s still Christmas, day 3! I’m reading after having a lie in. DH and I having Greek flatbreads for dinner later and will carry on with our boxset. We might go for a walk although I’m not sure I’m in the mood.

I've had to put a wash in today and dh has nipped to the shop so not quite in full on Xmas mode but we'll be having bubble and squeak with the leftovers later so still slightly in Xmas mode.

We are going on holiday later today but I’d like to be in Christmas mode. Instead I did some washing, sorted some packing, vacuumed, tidied, cleaned the kitchen.

Just having a cup of tea and will then finish my packing. Taxi is coming at 6.
