DH, DS and the DDs (dogs) are sound asleep and snoring.

I have wine to hand and I’m just chilling.

We’ve played family games and eaten a huge meal, I suspect I will be in bed by 9pm!

Still early for us. Just finished a big brunch with bacon (crispy & British) sausage eggs French toast fruit & lots of maple syrup. Hubby snoozing on the couch. #1 son getting showered ready to head over to his gf house. #2 son setting up his ps5 & daughter playing on her new tablet. I'm going to clean up and listen to my favorite podcast. Might go for a walk down the beach later. Buffet a bit later.

It's pretty much all over now, I'm having a break upstairs whilst dh plays DC on PlayStation.

I'm eating Christmas cake, drinking port and watching Boy, Mole, Fox, Horse.

We have just finished crackers curling game (very good fun), washed up, put bed up for MIL, Christmas pudding almost finished steaming. Intend on having Christmas pudding with brandy cream/and or whatever chocolates you can find during Wake Up Dead Man (knives out 3) film about to start

DH is watching Indiana Jones, I'm eating twiglets and continental biscuit selection and scrolling. Youngest is snoring in a chair beside me because he was out late last night at the pub 😂 was going to watch Call the Midwife but I guess I'll have to catch up tomorrow instead!

My son just vomited, so my husband is giving him a bath. I am browsing mumsnet, watching home alone while my cat is pestering me

Well that's what I would do but they can't wait! Enjoy, I hope Steve doesn't die!

Chilling watching All Creatures Great and Small! Just DH, DS (21) who is recovering from a broken ankle (and a stomach bug on top of it!) and me for Christmas Dinner - first in our new house. It's been a pleasure to be in a kitchen with space to prep, cook and eat.
Definitely had a low key day, but given and received some lovely gifts too.

I’m sipping champagne, dogs sleeping, teens upstairs, DH watching some sh!te on TV. We’ve had a lovely chilled lazy day. Same again tomorrow probably

I'm watching Morecambe and Wise, DH is washing up and adult dd & partner are both staring at some screen or other. We played board games earlier, and have all just had a few sandwiches and mini sausage rolls.

Feet up, catching up on the soaps with a family sized bag of Tyrell’s crisps. We’ve just got back from a family Christmas including a 1.5 yo and 3 yo and we’re all knackered..!

DS2 (17) is hiding in his room after two days of socialising

DH, DD, DS and I are all in our bed watching a film.

Finished watching a film half an hour ago. The boys did the last of the washing up and Ds2 chose to go to bed. Ds1 is sitting beside me in front of the fire playing some racing game on his phone. Dh is pinned down by a cat. I think both are happy with this situation.

Other cat is marauding around upstairs looking for an open window. I know this because I can hear him jumping off each windowsill in turn when he is disappointed.
I have whisky.

Children 1 and 2 are upstairs playing with their new stuff/chilling on their phones. Child 3 is just going to sleep and we are watching crap on tv and congratulating ourselves on a job well done today.

Kids are watching Harry Potter on the same couch. This is remarkable as they rarely go 5 minutes without a spat of some kind. The youngest even has her legs on eldest’s lap! I’m scrolling with a cup of chai tea feeling proud of myself for not drinking today. I have been overdoing the wine this year and now feel hopeful I can do Dry Jan.

Had a proper chilled Xmas day for a change. Currently eating Indian buffet with a rum and coke watching Queen at Wembley stadium while 3 DGD are tucked up in bed. Bliss. Only downside is work at 10.00 tomorrow. Merry Christmas everyone.

We’ve walked round to our friends (who are more like family) and we’re getting tipsy and playing games. It’s how we spend every Christmas.
The kids are tweens/teens and it’s their favourite part of the day.

We've had a lovely day, lots of thoughtful gifts. Meal went well, elderly family members have gone home.

Sitting watching tv with dh and 17 year old ds, we go away tomorrow for a few days so just having a chilled one today. Dd11 is upstairs sulking because I just tore a strip off of her for being a spoilt brat! Happy days!

Everyone gone now that was here for dinner .
I’m sitting on couch changed into pjs , having a Bailey’s coffee, ate dessert a while ago , choc mousse cake I bought in lidil actually & it was Fab ! I’m back to the too full feeling though that I had after dinner 🙈.

At 2 of my sons' place with other son and daughter. One son is playing guitar, another playing keyboard with all of us singing. Don't imagine it's like the Walton's though, it definitely isn't! I laugh the most when I'm with this ridiculous bunch.

We had a nice day with my parents; they left about 7. DS stayed up for a bit to play with his new Nintendo Switch with DH while I cleaned the kitchen but was in bed by 8. We’ve just watched some TV with a bit of chocolate and now I’m going to have a bath and get an early night as PIL and my SIL are coming tomorrow for Christmas #2. I think DH is wrapping their presents while watching the NFL.

Watching ds relax in his human dog bed 😂 It was a bit of a joke gift and thought it would be underwhelming as its from TikTok shop. The bloody thing is massive and so incredibly comfortable that I'm considering ordering another one for myself.

DD is watching Mrs Fecking Bloody Doubtfire for the eleventy-billionth time. DH has cleared up after dinner and we are doing a silly history quiz on YouTube. I have found a bottle of Whispering Angel, and am very happy.

Visitors left about 45 mins ago. We're both messing around on our phones and watching 1% Club. I'll be in bed in the next 30 mins or so.
