Top Ten most commonly forgotten items for Christmas dinner

The top 10 most forgotten Christmas dinner items are:

•Cranberry sauce
•Cream
•Stuffing
•Christmas crackers for the table
•Gravy granules
•Carrots
•Cheese
•After-dinner mints
•Wine
•Custard

(From Aldi website)

Anything you'd add to that, in case it jogs someone else's memory?

I would add foil and batteries.

😂 oops sorry! Might keep my energy levels up though.
I do need to replace the ones in the carbon monoxide detector as it started beeping at 8 am.

That’s very Aldi. Gravy granules and after dinner mints 😃

Imagine the Waitrose one. That’d be smoked salmon and panettone.

I thought the same about wine!

We’d definitely be more likely to forget the actual food than the wine.

If you've roasted any kind of meat, you don't need gravy granules.

TheDandyLion · 24/12/2025 11:16

Ain't no-one forgetting wine and cheese.
