Being in hospital when they messed up last time.

I've been ill for decades. I'm in my 40s. I've experienced a lot of medical gaslighting and I'm having therapy for it.
But last year I was ill with pneumonia and in hospital. There was a never event. I complained and received the standard apology. But heading back into hospital is a challenge.
Is anyone in the same boat? Do you have any suggestions on how I can manage while in?

I dont have suggestions for while your in (I refuse to go to one hospital that helps!) Im sorry your also in this boat. I have PTSD because of events in hospital that meant I went in reasonably fit and healthy and came out disabled (and gaslit ever since). EMDR has helped a little but due to time delay/multiple traumas it hasn't solved it.
Would things to do help? It doesn't help me as I'm on such high alert but for some I know it helps.
