Having a complete blank 😳 all I can think of is a bloody frittata!! I also have a sort of roasted veg traybake thing with pomegranate seeds that I've done before, but what else, apart from copious amount of cheese and crisps?!

Lots of coloured crudités plus strawberries and grapes. (Stuck on the gluten free bit sorry) But the colour cheers up the table a bit.

Dips and crudites are good.

Potato salad or crispy potato skins if you're doing hot things.

You can get decent gluten free wraps so quesadilla might be an option if you're doing warm things. Or use them as a pastry replacement to make little quiches.

Rice salads are also a good shout

Some nice nuts could be good for picking at.

Coleslaw.

If you're feeling adventurous then homemade arancini with gf breadcrumbs.

Marinaded tofu or paneer - tikka, tandoori, satay. Just double check any bought marinades.

You asked about gf pasta - basically assume you have to spend ££ for it to be good. The cheap stuff is rubbish. My friend likes this brand:

Roast baby potatoes with garlic

Loaded mushrooms - mary berry did some on her show last night topped with halloumi and butternut squash

Use gf pastry and make little stars topped with pesto, cheese etc. Or make a quiche.

A salad with bitter leaves, roast butternut squash and blue cheese, maybe some sundried tomatoes and nuts.

Or do a big veggie chilli or curry and rice.

Basque cheesecake

Pavlova/meringue roulade
