Being asked about my weight loss…

This week I’ve been asked 4 times about my weight loss. I’ve moved from being overweight into the top of the healthy bmi range. I feel put on the spot and don’t want to chat about my body. It’s been a very long boring journey. I’ve still got a stone to lose and I’m going to feel very self conscious if everyone has something to say about it.

My love, you can absolutely say “I’m not comfortable discussing my body with you, let’s leave that subject alone please.”

And bloody well done on making the effort to change, and having the courage to do something about it. You’ve achieved so much already!

Just say "Thanks but I don't really want to talk about it"

thanks, I don’t want to offend anyone but would feel comfortable saying ‘oh let’s not chat about my weight’

Just smile, thank them for their kind comments, say you're proud of yourself and change the subject.

Perfectly normal thing to say.

Go for it 🤷‍♂️
