Can't amend Sainsburys order and don't know what to do.

Been battling for days and this is my xmas order so am stressed. When I click on the "amend this order button" it doesn't take me to my basket for that order. Just takes me to a new, empty basket and advises me to start shopping/book a slot.

Tried on my ipad, pc and phone and also the app. Same on all of them. I have logged out and back in.

I have emailed Sainsburys who seem flummoxed and don't seem to be able to help.

Call the store where it will be coming from? It will be a local one, so if you don't know, try all of them. They all have options that take you through to the store.

Thank you, that didn't work. They've email me again and told me to ring and have just sorted, something was stuck their end!

I had issues with the Sainsburys website on Chrome & Safari so now use DuckDuckGo and it seems to work better. I'd try a different browser and see if that helps, and then I don't know!

When you phone can they see your order? Could they cancel it and you start a new one?

Another thing I just remembered, I once had issues updating a basket the day before a delivery and it turned out they were updating the website. The driver asked me what was going on as he could see I had updated it several times, even though my end nothing was working.

I had that exact same problem a couple of weeks ago. It vanished after I cleared the cache in my browser and restarted the browser app.

I had to talk to someone on the phone. They said my order was stuck on “amend” at their end and they had to do something.

Thanks. Apparently it’s an error on their end and they need to log with IT. I’m so cross as it’s our Christmas order!

I have been saving all my nectar points (for about 3 years!) for the Christmas shop coming at 10am tomorrow, just gone to pay and it doesnt work just get an error code!

Are your nectar points still there? I had put an old card as my car once and they were ringing me the morning of delivery for payment so I think someone will contact you tomorrow
