I have been off work for 3 months due to cancer treatments (yes more than 1 cancer).

I have just started doing a bit of work to get me back into work mode for next year.

Love my job. Love my team. There's only 3 of us.

A post has been put on social media platforms this weekend wishing our clients and partners happy Christmas from Ann and Barb.. they've not put my name on.

Today I have had 2 messages asking me if I've left.

I'm tired today and it's stupidly made me cry. I actually want to message 1 of my colleagues and say "what about me?" But think I am being pathetic.

I can’t see this being done with malice, more that Barb and Ann didn’t think. Bit shitty as you’ve only been on leave for 3 months, not a year.

I’m in two minds - if you have a good jokey relationship you could drop a message saying you’ve forgotten me guys! Kind of thing, if you don’t, then I would just leave it. It won’t change anything but could make things awkward.

No. There are other departments but we do a specific role.

Definitely ask them to add your name as people are asking if you've left. It's accurate and to the point and you aren't being silly ☀️

That’s so hurtful. I’d definitely contact the other two, and say you are upset that you weren’t included and that you’ve had messages asking if you’ve left.

Think I'll sleep on it and see how J feel about it tomorrow.

I'd be fuming and I'd probably add a sarky "I'm not dead yet. " but probably best to sleep on it.

Sorry you have been so unwell, that sounds pretty horrible.
