If you are not working for a week or two at Christmastime, please tell me the exciting ways you plan to spend the time.

I plan to spend most of the time in pyjamas, only going out for nice dog walks, eating lots, drinking the rest of the baileys, playing Nintendo switch & reading books.

I love the time between Xmas and new year, usually spend it relaxing, doing puzzles, watching TV, going for walks. Maybe a bit of shopping. Both my adult children are home this year so I’ll be spending as much time as possible with them.

Oh and I’ll probably need to do my tax return too! 🫣

Sounds all lovely and have lots of hope to be able to do long walks, reading, soaks in the bath, watch movies etc

in reality I will stress eat and hoping for the neurodivergent teens to be back at school soon so we get a break. Being verbally abused and needing to care constantly for an autistic teen taller than you isn’t making you feel very festive unfortunately

We always go to a big garden centre and buy the reduced decorations for next years Christmas (it’s my favourite thing to do!).

We’re going for a walk over the Humber Bridge one day and we’re at some Winter Illuminations one night as well. We also want to fit in a trip to the seaside but that might be in the new year.
